TANATEX Chemicals Appoints Dennis L. Dalton as New President and CEO

TANATEX Chemicals B.V. announced the appointment of Dennis L. Dalton as President and CEO effective 1 October 2019. Prior to joining TANATEX, Dalton served as Permanent Member of Transfar Chemicals’  Global Executive Committee for textile chemicals. Transfar is China’s leading chemical supplier and acquired Netherlands-based TANATEX Chemicals in 2016. TANATEX is a global leader in developing, producing and marketing sustainable and innovative chemicals for the textile industry. Dalton will continue to serve Transfar in his previous capacity in tandem with his new role.

Dalton came to Transfar from Singapore where he served as CEO with other multinational specialist chemical companies. Prior to that, he worked in the US as VP Marketing of global specialty chemical firms and he started his career as Product Development Specialist at the European headquarters of a leading US chemical company. His extensive experience gained in Europe, the US and Asia is complemented by a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in business administration.
