Harmonisation of industry standard is key to sustainability approach

At TANATEX we have a high focus on sustainability, which is reflected in the programs we are involved in. Currently, we are assessing our active participation in ZDHC against the increasing administrative burden related to the various programs. Due to the increasing complexity and resultant cost burdens for the textile value chain, an Open Letter is send towards ZDHC to express the need for harmonization of an industry standard and reduction of complexity, duplication and misunderstanding and costs.

TANATEX is one of the signatories of this open letter by the chemical industry towards ZDHC, subscribing some principles and expectations that require clarification or commitment in order to contribute to ZDHC officially. TANATEX has decided to join this initiative, because we strongly support the harmonizing principles, which we consider paramount to continue delivering sustainable products.
