Organic stabiliser for alkaline hydrogen peroxide bleaching.
Cold pad-batch extraction bleaching often ensures adequate desizing at the same time, so there is no need for a separate desizing process before bleaching. The batching time should not be less than 20 hours. Longer batching times, e.g. up to 48 hours may improve the results obtained.
To ensure optimum bleaching and desizing, thorough post-scouring or post-extraction is necessary. Modern continuous washing units with at least 4 – 6 compartments are most suitable.
