TANAJET™ Bio-Switch
Urea is an excellent ingredient for use in printing to achieve bright colours. However, almost half of the mass content is nitrogen, the use of which is damaging to the environment. This is why we have developed TANAJET™ Bio-Switch, a nitrogen-free urea replacement for your inkjet preparation process. TANAJET™ Bio-Switch is suitable for use in printing polyamide, silk, wool and wool blends, cotton and viscose.
Benefits of using TANAJET™ Bio-Switch
We have two types to choose from: TANAJET™ Bio-Switch UA (100% bio-based) for printing with acid inks and TANAJET™ Bio-Switch UR (80% bio-based) for printing with reactive inks. Both options provide the following benefits:
- Up to 97% nitrogen reduction compared with urea usage
- Completely vegan
- Biodegradable
- Certified under the USDA BioPreferred Product Label
- Approved by bluesign, ZDHC and GOTS
- Mixable with water (liquid formulations)
