Dye-fixing agents are of considerable interest in the art of textile colouration. Dyed and printed goods often have unsatisfactory wet fastness, especially washing and water fastness. This is found with dyeings carried out using direct dyes and to a lesser extent, reactive dyes. In textile dyeing house, cationic dye-fixing agents are used to overcome the poor wet fastness properties with reactive and direct dyeing on cellulosics.
TANAFIX™ RDF is an after-treatment agent to improve the wet fastness and wash fastness properties of reactive and direct dyeing on cellulosic fibres.
This product can also be used as after-treatment agent to improve the wet fastness and wash fastness properties of direct and discharge prints with reactive and direct dyestuffs.
