Aliphatic polyester polyurethane, flame retardant, antimony and halogen free, good adhesion to polyamide and polyester, high lightfastness and UV resistance.
TANACOAT™ SFT is a fully compounded coating paste for coating of (technical) textiles that need specific flame-retardant properties. The desired flame-retardant properties are influenced by the different type of substrates and applications and need to be adapted accordingly.
The TANACOAT™ SFT product shows its best performance when applied as a basecoat on polyester fabrics until 110 – 120 g/m2.
TANACOAT™ SFT can be mixed in any ratio with other binders from our EDOLAN® and TANACOAT™ range. It does however, has to be taken into consideration that this may affect the final flame-retardant properties of the end product negatively.
TANACOAT™ SFT is certified by GRS as well as compliant with Bluesign and ZDHC.
