Acid buffer mixture with dispersing and chelating action for use of dyeing polyester, polyester/wool and polyester/cellulosics.

When dyeing polyester, polyester/cellulosic blends, cellulosic, acetate and triacetate with dyes that are sensitive to reduction, substances in the dyebath that cause reduction can result in variations in shade. This risk is particularly high for cellulosic and cellulosic blends, particularly if they are dyed on closed overflow units under HT conditions.

In dyeing condition many disperse dyes have pronounced pH sensitivity. In other words, the dye yield is lower unless the pH is held at pH 4,0 - 6,0 throughout the dyeing process. This can result in poor reproducibility.

TANACID™ ARB sets a stable pH range and an oxidising agent eliminates these reducing components without destroying the dyes that ensures it is held constant throughout dyeing.
