After-treatment agent to improve the wet fastness properties on polyamide goods and reserving agent for the dyeing of polyamide/cellulosic blends.
MESITOL® NBS 01 improves the wet fastnesses of polyamide dyed with acid and 1:2 metal-complex dyes. The ideal pH during application has to be set at 4,5.
In particular, the cold fastnesses such as fastness to water severe, to sea water, fastness to washing at 30 °C and 40 °C and fastness to perspiration alkaline and acid. The degree of improvement in fastness depends on the type of dyestuff dye and the type of polyamide fibre.
