Low affinity fluorescent whitening agent (FWA) for cellulosic fibres.
BLANKOPHOR® BPL is a low affinity fluorescent whitener, therefore, it is mainly suitable for pad application. Tailing is unlikely. Even in resin finishing liquors with relatively high concentrations of catalysts (ammonium salt or magnesium salt).
BLANKOPHOR® BPL can also be used in exhaust process. To ensure adequate exhaustion, an addition of salt is required. However, optimum whiteness can only be obtained in exhaust processes by using BLANKOPHOR® products that have affinity for the fibres.
