Special auxiliary to prevent yellowing of polyamide and polyamide/elastane articles during heat treatments.
The SPANSCOUR® SPARK prevents the oxidation of the amino-end groups of polyamide during heat-setting. Due to this prevention-mechanism, higher colour-yields can be found when dyeing polyamide and result in better reproducibility.
The product is non-substantive and is therefore especially recommended for pad application. The best results are obtained by applying SPANSCOUR® SPARK directly before heat treatment. After heat treatment the goods can be washed off, if required.
Reductive bleaching or fluorescent whitening may be carried out together with a wash-off. The goods can be dyed as usual.
