FIBERMATE™ POC is an unique lubricating agent for polyester and polyamide fibres in filament, textured yarn or spun fibre form. It gives the yarn outstanding smooth running properties and reduced friction during rewinding, knitting or weaving. Static charge is greatly reduced.
FIBERMATE™ POC distinguishes itself by being easy to remove from the substrate. This is primarily important when the knitted or woven goods are to be subsequently coated or bonded.
Particular attention must be paid to the application of FIBERMATE™ POC. After the dyeing and any subsequent after-treatment to improve dye fastness, the yarn should be thoroughly rinsed. The final rinse should be with cold water.
