Within Tanatex Chemicals BV, for the R&D department within the group Analyses in our headquarters in Ede (The Netherlands), in the context of replacement, we are currently looking for candidates for the fulltime position of:
R&D Specialist Analytical Services
The R&D Analytical department is responsible for competitive and creative solutions for a broad range of analytical methods in the global textiles industry. Innovative and specific methods are developed, verified and performed.
The department performs analyses and gives advice (based on the obtained data) so that all questions by third parties (internal and external) can be answered adequately.
Job activities include:
- Perform standard analyses for several stakeholders in a timely manner, and do this according applicable standards.
- Follow and improve quality of performed analyses with control charts, statistical review, writing SOP’s.
- Conceptual and practical, project based, development of new analytical methods within agreed timeframes. New methods can be applicable for raw materials, products or processed textiles.
- Projects (often < 1 year) start from a well-defined profile and request.
- Be(come) the system administrator for HPLC-UV and PSD-analyses.
- Cooperation with different departments like Business Units (setting up product analyses, validation of developed products, technical advice) and PS&RA (assistance in compliance and regulatory related questions).
Job qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field (Analytical Chemistry)
- At least 3 years experience in the chemical/analytical industry
- Solid experience with HPLC, preferably also with PSD
- Working Independently
- Accurate and structured, but pragmatic attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
